What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Generally it is $80 per hour and $60 per 45 minute lesson and $40 for 30 minute lessons. Lessons can be at client’s location or my location in Wilsonville. I am always willing to discuss a client's budget considerations for multiple students and other factors.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Having a preliminary call that answers immediate questions and a free lesson solidly align a client's needs and interests with what I offer.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a Master's degree in Piano performance and Pedagogy, and am an active member in the Oregon Music Teachers Association, and the National MTNA.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started while pursuing my undergraduate degree, wanting to share my gift and help others enjoy music.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with over 1500 pupils aged from 5 years old to 85. All stages and multiple genres as well, including developmentally handicapped and vision impaired people.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Programming and producing a month long concert tour in Germany this past December. It took two years and several hundred hours of work, networking and travel. Performnces, recording and collaboration with other colleagues made up my tour.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask about the length of study and goals met of their regular clients and references. Also see if they are a practitioner of the art, in performance, professional association, volunteering and national/international presence.
